Focus on RADOX® 125
Do you know the HUBER+SUHNER RADOX® cable technology?
The insulation of RADOX® cables is cross-linked, i.e. a connection is created between the various polymer chains that make up the insulation. This forms a structure that is resistant to mechanical stress and temperature peaks far in excess of the thermal protection class. During the production process, the cable is bombarded with electrons in the form of beta radiation, which transforms the RADOX® into a “Cross-linked Polyethylene XLPE” (or XLPO).
RADOX® insulations offer excellent resistance to thermal, chemical, electrical and mechanical stresses.
And thanks to the reduced wall thickness, these cables also reduce weight and space requirements.
The most important advantages of RADOX :
– Halogen-free, low-smoke, flame-retardant
– Does not melt, flow or shrink
– Easy to strip, highly flexible, smaller cable diameter
– Longer service life
Applications :
– industry
– Defence, Aerospace
– Marine, Oil & Gas
– Solutions for wind energy
– Process automation
